Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 12, 2026
1. Data Processing Roles
- User as Data Controller: You determine the purpose and logic of your Agents and Workforce. You are responsible for ensuring a lawful basis for any personal data your Agents process.
- Company as Data Processor: Replicants.com acts as an infrastructure provider. We process data solely to host, persist, and orchestrate your Agents according to your configurations.
2. Data We Collect and Generate
- Account Information: Name, email, and payment details required for subscription management.
- Reasoning Logs (The “Internal Scratchpad”): To satisfy 2026 “Right to Explanation” requirements, we record the internal decision-making logs of your Agents. These logs contain the Agent's “thought process” and are used solely for your audit purposes and platform security.
- Execution Data: Metadata related to Agent heartbeats, API calls, and resource consumption.
- BYOK Credentials: We store encrypted pointers to your third-party AI keys. We do not have access to the underlying model training data or your private model configurations on those third-party platforms.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Service Orchestration: To maintain the 24/7 “heartbeat” and persistence of your Workforce in our cloud environment.
- Security & Compliance: To monitor for “runaway” agents or unauthorized access attempts to our infrastructure.
- No Training Policy: Replicants.com does not use your proprietary inputs, agent configurations, or reasoning logs to train our own models or improve services for other users.
4. Data Minimization and Retention
- Zero-Retention Mode: We support “Zero-Retention” workflows where session data is purged immediately upon task completion.
- Log Retention: By default, Reasoning Logs are retained for six (6) months to comply with AI safety and auditability standards. You may configure shorter retention periods within your dashboard.
- Secure Deletion: When you delete a Workforce or Agent, all associated cloud instances and metadata are cryptographically erased within 30 days.
5. Your Rights and Explainability
- Right to Explanation: You can access your Agent's Reasoning Logs at any time to understand why a specific decision was made.
- Data Portability: You may export your Agent's “DNA” (configurations and logic) to move to another OpenClaw-compatible host.
- Automated Decision-Making Opt-Out: Because you control the Agent's logic, you manage the “Opt-Out” mechanisms for the individuals your Agents interact with.
6. Third-Party Disclosures
- AI Model Providers: Your data is shared with the LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) for which you provide keys. Their privacy policies govern the processing of that data.
- Social Platforms: If your Agent is configured to interact with platforms like X or Farcaster, your data will be shared with those platforms according to your Agent's logic.
